Pale Lady to Release Sophomore EP “My New Maze”
'My New Maze' is the bands sophomore EP, and while keeping up the high energy of the last EP, offers something different. My New Maze could be described as having a modern Alt Pop-Rock sound while taking inspiration from the more experimental recordings of the 60s/70s. All going to plan this EP will make you feel like you're getting kidnapped by a huge amphibian only to be given to a giant space octopus (in a good way).
‘My New Maze’, will be available on all online platforms 25 October, 2019.
Soon to be the first band to play on the moon, Pale Lady brings you a fresh blend of energy, smiles, and angst to create a new form of Alt Pop-Rock. Since forming in late 2016, Pale Lady has gone on to win the New Zealand national Battle of the Bands competition, with two members also winning best guitarist. They have opened for international legends such as The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Haken, released three singles and an EP with critical acclaim, and have just returned from an international tour through New Zealand, Australia, and parts of Asia. Watching these rock fanatics live, you can expect to be immersed in lush vocal harmonies, a one-man drums/keyboard combo, inappropriate bass licks, and guitar solos a plenty. With new singles and an EP on the horizon, Pale Lady will be on the moon before you can say ‘logistics’.
